Hollow, empty poems scrawled
In Sharpie on the bathroom walls.
Peeling paint and lipstick stains
Carved-in "forevers"; crossed-out names.
Glass shards on the bathroom floor
Wine smeared on the creaking doors.
Empty lighters and burnt out matches
Dusty corners and cigarette ashes
A lone photograph in the sink
A warm kiss caught on fading ink.
The edges burnt, a smudged out face
Black and white with teardrop stains.
Hollow poems, so meaningless.
Broken, forgotten promises
Lost among the heartbreak pains,
Just another crossed-out name.

This is GREAT! Love all the imagery! I can see this bathroom and all else described, and I can also feel all the pain that comes out of this poem. The word choice is simple yet so powerful! Great Job =D
